Welcome to the Ganterhäusle, a 300-year-old forester’s house, secluded in a clearing at 1,000 meters altitude, surrounded only by forest, with a unique view over the Black Forest and all the way to the Vosges Mountains.
The house was restored to the highest standards from 2017 to 2023 and is now one of the most beautiful homes in the entire Black Forest.
The Ganterhäusle is a listed Black Forest house from the year 1720. It has been renovated over the past five years to the highest standards and offers a breathtaking, panoramic view spanning 80 kilometers, unlike any other house in the Black Forest.
The house has no neighbors, neither within hearing distance nor in sight. It is surrounded by forest and enjoys a completely secluded, stunningly beautiful location. This might even be the most beautiful spot in the entire Black Forest.
This historic monument stands on approximately 3,000 square meters of healthy meadowland, surrounded by a 4-hectare clearing. The clearing itself is surrounded on all sides by state forest.
The house offers approximately 390 square meters of comfortable living space, consisting of two interconnected living units, with 5 to 6 bedrooms and one to two kitchens. There are two state-of-the-art bathrooms and three toilets. Underfloor heating and the new tiled stove provide cozy warmth.
The house has its own reliable spring, supplying plenty of fresh and delicious drinking water.
Thanks to fiber optics, the house is connected to the internet at lightning speed, despite its remote location. At the house, you can receive both German and French mobile networks.
