The modern building complex on a traditional alpine pasture was completely rebuilt in 2004. In order to retain the charm of a farmed alpine pasture, the location and orientation of the ‘original alpine pasture’ were retained unchanged.
The result is a place that has retained its alpine character in combination with a modern, angular wooden design. The ‘Alpe Hohenegg’ radiates its very own ambience, the clarity of the architecture as well as its authenticity and straightforwardness are inspiring.
