Cap d'Antibes Rentals: Discover the town

Cap d’Antibes is one of the most exclusive promontories along the Cote d’Azur. Measuring no more than five kilometres, from its start on Antibes’ Salis Beach to the lively town of Juan les Pins, this small stretch of paradise has long been a playground for the rich and famous.

The peninsula, situated between Cannes and Nice, is home to some of the grandest villas in the south of France, many of which are hidden behind impressive gates to keep out prying eyes.

It is also famous for its luxury hotels, the most exclusive of which is arguably the Eden-Roc Hotel, which is set amongst acres of luscious parkland and enjoys complete exclusion.

The coastal road around Cap d’Antibes is wonderful to walk around, although care must be taken as it becomes quite narrow in parts. The winding road clings to the coast, around several harbours and a number of pretty coves, which have sandy beaches that slope gently to the sea.

If these coves seem too crowded, there are a number of wider beaches on the Cap such as La Plage de la Garoupe, which is located on the eastern side of the peninsula. Here you can find a couple of excellent restaurants on the private section of the beach, where sun-loungers can be hired. There is also a public beach with a popular café.

From the beach take the walkway around a smaller cap to the right, where you will find some of the best views along the French Riviera.
